In 2013, I got the opportunity to be a Student Ambassador for People to People: Student Ambassador's Program. Through this program I was able to travel to Italy, Austria, Switzerland and France. To this day, it is still one of the greatest adventures that I have ever embarked on. (Ironically, one of my essays that I have written and is featured in one of my DRSL's is about this trip! You can read about it in my Sophomore DRSL's).
Through this program, I was able to learn more about these countries, obtain hands on experience on many activities, and to learn more about my world and to represent us, The United States Students. From building Castle's, to eating cooked snail, Our travel group and I gained amazing opportunities to travel, explore and learn about these amazing countries and their fascinating history while still representing our country and it's students. We even brought the American Flag with us and wore Red, White and Blue next to the Eiffel Tower in France on the 4th of July. (We got the weirdest looks that day, but we didn't even care.) Although I wish I could show you all 1,000 pictures that I took, I have here, just a few of the ones that I have captured along with some captions to address them :).
After this extraordinary trip, I was then considered an Alumni for People to People and had the opportunity to go to future meetings and events that followed after this to all the new ambassadors of People to People here in Utah, and I was able to share my experiences, give them future tips such as what to expect, how to pack, fundraising ideas, answer questions for the new students if any, and so on and so forth.

This Summer of 2016, After People to People closed it's doors officially in 2015 (still not over it ;(.), my Leader from 2013 People to People found another travel company called WorldStrides and almost like People to People, I, my brother and my sister, will be having the opportunity to go to England, France, Switzerland and Germany.
Unlike People to People's 3 week trip, this trip will be about 10 days and while I will not be joining a host family, I will have a more hands on experience to more things and will have more leisure time to explore the cities.
