This was a story about my very first trip alone, out of the country. I was an alumni for People to People Student Ambassadors and I was going to Italy, Austria, Switzerland and France. It was mostly about me recounting the memory of that day that I embarked on that adventure of a lifetime. It was definitely something I will never forget. I chose this paper to be my Effective Communication piece because it was one of my very first AMES essay's that covered all of the 6 elements that Effective Communication needed.
- Critical Thinking- Thinking RED:
- Recognize Assumptions
- Evaluate Arguments
- Draw Conclusions
I chose this Personality Disorders PowerPoint that I made for my Health class to represent my Critical Thinking because it was one of my very first pojects here that I had to really learn and do a ton of research on all on my own. She gave us all a topic on Mental/Emotional Health and the rest was on our own to show, teach and present to the class.
- Integration and Application of Knowledge in Civic, Social and
Personal Context- I think the title speaks for itself.
This is an image of when we had to work as a team to apply our knowledge of what we had learned in math that day by creating a presentation. I used this as an example of how AMES has helped me apply my knowledge in civic and social relationships for the future by showing me how to reach deadlines on time and how to work well with others and as a team.
