I wrote this 8-10 page essay for my University of Utah Humanities class about how my life has influenced my educational career. It talks about all the Ups and Downs my little Hispanic, Female self had to face while going throughout my educational life and what kinds of things I learned from them. I chose this to be my senior year Effective Communication essay because not only does it have all 6 elements, but it really made me honestly think about my life a bit more than I normally would and helped me express things that I felt needed to be expressed.
- Critical Thinking- Thinking RED:
- Recognize Assumptions
- Evaluate Arguments
- Draw Conclusions

This is a presentation that I made for my U of U Humanities class. It is also my Senior Project. I chose this to be my Critical Thinking this year because it was something that really opened my eyes about important matters and I learned and drew new conclusions about Photoshop and its power on us.
- Integration and Application of Knowledge in Civic, Social and
Personal Context- I think the title speaks for itself.
In this essay, I integrated the knowledge and information I gathered from my AP U.S. History class from the previous year about a particular issue that this paper was based off of. I integrated the Knowledge I had obtained in my English classes over the years, including my U of U Writing class about how to appropriately write a 5 page argumentative essay. I then tied it all up with the information I had learden in my U.S. Government class about our nations History and how laws and ammendments work in this land and put them all together to give me this lovely, arumentative paper.
